For more than 23 years as a lawyer, Chris has practised extensively in commercial litigation and wills and estates litigation.
He is recognised by the Queensland Law Society as an Accredited Specialist in Succession Law (Wills & Estates). He is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a global professional body of practitioners specialising in wills, estates and trusts.
As a seasoned lawyer, Chris advocates for the advantages of mediation as an alternative to litigation.
Chris Sheath is a Queensland Law Society Nationally Accredited Mediator and a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. He is a member of the Resolution Institute and the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland, solidifying his commitment to resolving disputes amicably.
Furthermore, Chris is also an accredited mediator under the Farm Business Debt Mediation Act 2017 and conducts farm business debt mediations for farmers and financiers to achieve successful and lasting outcomes.
